All about QA

Physicists from 24 proton therapy centres came to HollandPTC to discuss their experience with QA procedures and measurements devices. This was the multi-institutional QA workshop of the European Particle Therapy Network held last week here. The participants focused mainly on machine QA, however, patient specific QA was also briefly discussed. The workshop provided an overview of measurement methods, tolerance values and frequencies of measurement used at different institutes. It provided a safe platform to openly discuss all the differences and address issues that the individual centers are facing in their daily measurements. The workshop was very successful and the participants have agreed to have a follow up workshop in Autumn 2020.
